The X-spat Serie of 3D audio workstations is a full line of products dedicated to 3D audio soundscape creation for live surround sound, opera sound reinforcement, theatre sound automation, corporate event sound engineering, ambient audio design and DVD post-production enhancement.
When equipped with its optional firewire card and used in conjunction with X-Spat Controller II on Mac OS X, the workstation can be used also as a multichannel audio processor and playback system for theatrical productions and events. Alternatively, the X-spat player hardware represents an economical and powerful solution for any kind of installation.
The three X-spat boX2 models available are compatible with See'n'Sound and can support and enhance DVD post-production workstations like Symphony, Pro Tools and Nuendo.
The extreme versatility of X-spat boX2 makes difficult to explain all its potential and all the possible configurations. Please refer to the Bibliography and Education areas for more information. The following specs, concerning the standard version of X-spat boX2, are preliminary and subject to changes.
