The parameters included in this part of the main window control the global set-ups of the X-Spat system. Proceeding from top to bottom, we find the following options: 'Number of Spatializer Outputs': sets the number of channels exiting the Spatializer. 'Global Settings': at any time, you can select the “Send” button to send all the MIDI Control Change messages included in this page to the X-Spat system. 'Room Side': sets the measurement in meters of the side, which, in turn, determines the dimensions of the virtual cube inside which the three dimensional Spatialisation takes place. 'Doppler Tracking': sets the speed of detection of the audio sources' movement, in order to apply the Doppler effect. 'Select Sample Rate': allows you to change the resolution of the visualization of the LPF and HPF filter values according to the sampling frequency in use.'Source 1, 2, 3... to 8': determine the way X-Spat Controller software will
manage the four couple of inputs available, as mono/singular or stereo/coupled channels. 'Dynamic Enhancements': if checked, link the distance variation from the virtual cube center and the height variation from the ground of the audio sources respectively to the LPF and HPF variation. In this page you can also find the MIDI Output Device pop-up menu to assign the output MIDI port through which X-Spat Controller will send messages of the MIDI Control Change type. Such messages can be sent directly to X-Spat or to a MIDI sequencer that will take care of recording the data and sending them to X-Spat at the same time.
